Through the appropriation and manipulation of commercial pornographic images, SkinFlick I challenges the viewer's relationship with the erotic image and the work itself. Through the use of digital manipulation, the images have been sanitised for their graphic content, which has been replaced with an involving anthropomorphic visual landscape, demanding engagement for its own merit.
